A Healthy Diet Makes a Happy Pet

One of the most common conversations that we at Snelgrove Veterinary Services have with our clients is in regards to feeding their pets - What to feed? When to feed? How much to feed? And with all of the information that pet owners are receiving from a variety of sources, it can sometimes become a bit overwhelming. Since not every pet has the same nutritional needs, it is important to consult with our veterinarians in order to answer any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your pet's diet. Our team is always available to help you with food and treat recommendations, as well as diet and exercise routines. We stay up-to-date on the latest in available veterinary and maintenance diets and participate regularly in continuing education concerning companion animal nutrition.

In fact, we have a separate Pet Pantry where we carry a range of pet food, treats and supplies.

Additionally, we offer an online Vet Store that will provide our clients with even more great options that can be delivered right to their door!

Have you heard about PROJECT: PET SLIM DOWN?

It is an easy, veterinarian-guided weight management program that we offer to our patients. Obesity can greatly affect your pet's health and has a huge impact on their quality of life. If you are interested in joining the project, we can provide you with an easy questionnaire to give us a better idea of your pet's lifestyle. You will then be paired up with one of our amazing veterinary technicians, who will guide and work along side you. Together with our clients, we strive to help our patients achieve their ideal body weight so that they can live their best lives!

Some of the products in our pantry:
